Maria Kiose

М. И. Киосе

Leading Researcher, Laboratory for multichannel communication

PhD, Dr.habil.

Maria Kiose specializes in cognitive semantics, multimodal communication, theories of text and discourse, theories of indirect naming, the use of eye-tracking technologies in linguo-cognitive research.

In 1999, Maria Kiose graduated from Sholokhov Moscow State University for Humanities with honors. In 2003, she defended her PhD thesis "Kognitivnye aspekty alljuzii" [Cognitive aspects of allusions]. In 2015, under the academic supervision of Olga Iriskhanova, Maria Kiose obtained a Dr.habil. degree with a thesis on techniques and characteristics of indirect naming in texts.
