Employed at the Institute of Linguistics since 2017.
In 2010, she graduated with honours from the Faculty of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication of the Moscow Institute of Linguistics. She is a qualified linguist and translator (major "Translation and translation studies").
She received an international CAE certificate (Certificate in Advanced English), which confirms the advanced level of English language proficiency.
In 2020, she graduated from the post-graduate program of the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences with a degree in the Theory of language.
Research interests: phraseology and paremiology, cognitive and linguo-cultural studies of language.
Apart from research, Olga Orlova is also involved in teaching activity: she gives lectures on the discipline "Fundamentals of Linguistics" and conducts practical classes in English and translation practice.
