Maria Pilgun

Leading Researcher, Section of Ethnopsycholinguistics

PhD, Dr.habil., Prof.

Employed at the Institute of Linguistics since 2013.

Research interests: psycholinguistics, social media analysis, textual analysis, neural network technologies, media text, multimodality, historical grammar of the Russian language, comparative historical grammar of Slavic languages, contrastive analysis.

Maria Pilgun has presented the results of her reserach in lectures, special courses, and presentations at various universities and institutions. Among them are University of Bologna (Italy), D'Annunzio University of Chieti–Pescara (Italy), Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland), University of Warsaw (Poland), University of Prešov (Slovakia), Grodno State University (Belarus), Chinese Culture University(Taiwan), Charles University(the Czech Republic), University of Granada (Spain), University of Seville (Spain), University of Sofia (Bulgaria), Democritus University of Thrace(Greece), University of Macedonia (Greece), University of Latvia, University of Vienna (Austria), Danube University Krems (Austria), University of Texas (the USA), University of Hawaii(the USA). She has delivered lectures and presentations at the International Communication Association events (Seattle, the USA) and the European Commission (Riga, Latvia; Prague, the Czech Republic).

Publications: more than 200 academic papers and methodology guides of her authorship have been published in Russia, Australia, Bulgaria, Spain, Iran, China, Poland, Slovakia, the USA, Switzerland, Turkey, the Czech Republic, and Taiwan.
