Yurieva Nadezhda was born in 1950 in Moscow. In 1975 she graduated from Moscow State Linguistic University.
In 1980 – 1983, she studied at the graduate school of the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. She has been working at the Institute of Linguistics since 1978. Now she is a member of the Dissertation Council D 002.006.03 of the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (specialisation 10.02.19 – Theory of Language).
In 1984, Nadezhda Yurieva defended her Ph.D. thesis Functioning of a derivative word in ontogenesis at the specialized council of the Institute of Linguistics under the supervision of Prof., PhD, Dr.habil. A. Shakhnarovich.
2006 – Dr.habil. thesis Speech ontogenesis in theory and experiment, specialisation 10.02.19 – Theory of Language. Her academic experience is 40 years.
Nadezhda Yurieva is a specialist in Language Theory, Psycholinguistics, and First Language Acquisition. Her research interests are related to the development of experimental methods for studying the ontogenesis of speech, language and communication skills, as well as problems of the theory of discourse, dialogue, and narrative.
